Fraudulent and Libelous Mailers
August 8, 2024Dark Money in Wisconsin GOP Primary
August 23, 2024If you’re like me, you remember or recognize the epic voice over that starts trailers or commercials or ads with “In a world where…(fill in the blank)…” and it draws you in. If you’re anything like me, as you just read that sentence you heard that voice in your head say that line. Stuff like that sticks with you. It’s genius marketing. It’s repetition. And so it stays in the memory bank and never goes away because it is effective.
So in todays version of “In a world where…”, it would go something like this:
“In a world, where the mainstream media and left crazies want to delete, cancel, intimidate and shut you down for taking a stand on truth, it is all the more reason to 100% take a stand.” “In a world, where not playing the “game” we so often hear from politicians behind the scenes, gets you ostracized, labeled, blackmailed and bullied because you don’t fit their “club rules”, it is all the more reason to take a stand.” “In a world where liars, connivers, thieves and snake oil salesman pretend to be with the people and then sell out the same people they pretend to be friends with in order to “survive” in the swamp by saving their own asses, it is all the more reason to take a stand.”
You get it.
There was a moment in time during a meeting a few years back where I (being partially still naive to think that career establishment politicians gave a damn about doing the right thing) asked one of our state reps “wouldn’t it be better for you if you sided with the thousands of voters who want something from you than the handful of elites you work with?” And the response I got in return was a blank stare.
I have to try to believe that maybe there was a glimmer of them realizing that in that questions’ purest and naive nature, that he knew I was right, but the conscious decision to either not answer because he knew he couldn’t or that he just chose to remain on the side that falls against the people’s will, was disappointing to say the least.
I still wonder how it is possible for anyone who remotely pays attention and can see the truth for what it is – by the lack of results produced, can not understand that compromising with those who seek to purposefully not listen to or represent you – is nothing short of a loss.
If you are a conservative and you believe that you have moral courage and clarity, that you follow a certain higher obligation to preserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in a nation founded by men and women who were willing to give up literally everything they had – including their families and their own safeties, then how is this so hard to see?
I saw this meme the other day. If this isn’t clarity enough, I’m not sure what is.
“In a world, where the establishment makes it completely obvious that they have no desire to protect the will of the people – but have every desire to protect each other, it is all the more reason to take a stand.”
The established side of both “sides” are in it for the established side and to protect themselves. The consistent call to patriots and anti establishment candidates during the past and these past primaries to “play the game” are a subtle and somewhat privately hidden way of saying “do what you’re told or else”.
Plain and simple – taking a stand wins. It wins with people. Because people want “real” and truth.
Again, let me remind you that the Republican establishment spent hundreds of thousands of collective dollars funneled through shady dark money organizations to destroy the character of party outsiders in the primaries in Wisconsin this past August, many were unfortunately defeated because of these tactics. These “real” people who were attacked, were attacked because they posed an absolute threat to the security of politicians who have consistently failed the people of Wisconsin. The established Republican Party of Wisconsin CHOSE who they wanted and who they didn’t want and played favorites.
The good folks who were beaten by this smear campaign and picking of winners and losers by the party on the surface may look like a victory for the establishment, but in reality what I hope for is that it is a strengthening of resolve inside of the we the people movement that seems to grow with each passing day.
Another point that needs to be made concerning how taking a stand isn’t actually as “detrimental” as they’d like you to think, was that 27th District candidate Lindee Brill ran an aggressive and integrity based primary campaign where she “thought for herself independently” and ran independently from the establishment as a “return the voice to the people candidate.”
She stood and ran on solid stances that people believe in such as being prolife (in actuality), election integrity, pro parent involved education programs, anti trafficking and as an anti fentanyl epidemic candidate. Lindee ran on stances she was unwilling to waver on, regardless of political pressure to cave.
And the bottom line is – against the establishment – remaining on course with her values and the values others have as well, even while there has been a concerted effort to silence the stand – she won. Decisively and clearly. The people in the 27th District chose “taking a stand” and common sense over more of the same. I wish more had fought like she did.
Taking a stand holds value. It always will.
In a world, where taking a stand is looked down on, we need more people to take a stand.
The caveat to their position that stands are divisive, bad, not “unifying” and looked down on, actually is much smaller and insignificant than they’d have you believe. The world where taking a stand lives and thrives is reality. It’s living rooms. It’s workplaces. It’s dinner tables. It’s rides to and from the grocery store. It’s at the doctors office. It’s in school auditoriums. It’s on a distant battlefield where one battle buddy is risking his or her life for the one next to him and not thinking about why they’re in the current combat setting they’re finding themselves in. Meanwhile, politicians and their friends in the media are the ones causing the confusion to make you second guess every decision you make in every one of the aforementioned situations.
One thing stays true through all of it though –
Never back off of taking a stand – it is a proven strategy to victory. Never back off of taking a stand no matter the pressure – because the world depends on it.
