Day of Prayer Proclamation

March 27

Day of Prayer Proclamation: Thursday, March 27th, 2025
The RPSC board has voted to declare Thursday, the 27th of March, as a day of prayer over the spring elections, our country, state, county, as well as all the candidates individually. While we hope you turn your attention to prayer periodically throughout the day, at 7:00 pm we will be meeting to pray in person at RPSC HQ at 1122 Indiana Ave. in Sheboygan.
America has a rich history of prayer proclamations. One of our favorites was declared by Abraham Lincoln 162 years ago in some of the darkest days of the Civil War. Lincoln’s proclamation began this way.
“Whereas the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the supreme authority and just government of Almighty God in all the affairs of men and of nations, has by a resolution requested the President to designate and set apart a day for national prayer…
and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord;”
So, please, join us in the grand American tradition of appealing to Almighty God to work in the hearts and minds of our country and guide us towards righteous government and revival and away from godlessness and lawlessness.
