Sheboygan’s newest conservative alderman, Ryan Menzer, was sworn in before his first council meeting tonight.

Menzer found his voice early in the meeting, arguing against automatically excusing council members from in-person attendance. Aldermen Belanger, Mitchell, and Heidemann joined in objecting to a set of new rules rammed through without time for public comment.
